Cosplay regulations

Om de veiligheid en de gezelligheid tijdens CDE te waarborgen zijn er een paar voorwaarden voor alle bezoekers. Een overtreding van deze Cosplay voorwaarden en/of de normale huisregels van Paard kan ertoe leiden dat je wordt verwijderd van het evenement.

• Hou rekening met andere bezoekers.
• Ga verantwoordelijk om met je cosplay props.
• Als je Cosplay als beledigend over kan komen bij de andere bezoekers wordt deze niet geaccepteerd op CDE.
• Tijdens het reizen van en naar CDE of voor de deur van Paard moet er rekening mee worden gehouden dat niet iedereen kan zien dat het om cosplay gaat. Let hierbij goed op dat replica wapens realistisch eruit kunnen zien, dus deze dan graag bedekken en/of wegge
• Denk na over de “social media” test, als je gefotografeerd wordt en de foto gaat viraal, zou het algemeen publiek de outfit accepteren. Is het antwoord nee, draag de outfit dan niet.
• Vraag van te voren of je een foto van/met een cosplayer mag nemen.
• Raak een cosplayer nooit zomaar aan zonder het te vragen.
• Fotografen moeten voor ze foto’s maken het doeleinde bespreken met de cosplayer, foto’s die geschoten mogen niet verkocht worden.
• Agressief gedrag en buitensporig schelden (ook al hoort het bij je Cosplay rol) tegen andere bezoekers of crew wordt niet geaccepteerd.
• Ongepast gedrag, opmerkingen, poses en gebaren worden niet geaccepteerd.
• We hebben een zero tolerance beleid op naaktheid.
• Outfits mogen niet kleiner zijn dan de standaard badmode.
• Als de outfit onthullend is zorg dat vitale delen altijd afgeschermd zijn.
• Outfits die de illusie geven van naakt zijn, zijn niet toegestaan.

Wapens

We weten dat props en/of replica wapens een belangrijk onderdeel zijn van een cosplay maar houdt rekening met de volgende regels bij het bezoeken van CDE. Alle props en/of replica wapens worden gecontroleerd voordat deze naar binnen mogen. Mocht tijdens de controle blijken dat de props en/of replica wapens niet worden geaccepteerd komen deze niet binnen. Props en/of replica wapens kunnen worden achtergelaten in de garderobe, dit is op eigen kosten.

Due to health and safety requirements and to keeping it fun during this edition of CDE, we as an organization have set some terms and conditions for all visitors of the event. If you infringe one or more of these terms and conditions and/or the regular terms and conditions of Paard, the sanctions are high and you will be removed from the event and its premises.

• Take other visitors into account
• Be responsible and handle your cosplay attributes with care
• If your cosplay outfit can come across as an insult to other visitors of the CDE, you will not be granted access on CDE.
• Keep in mind during travelling from/to Paard that others might not know you go to CDE. Be aware of the fact that a replica of a weapon, could look realistic, so please, put this out of sight when in public transport.
• Think about the “social media”-test, if you’d get photographed and the photo would go viral, would the general public, accept it? If not, then don’t wear the outfit.
• Always ask first, if you could take a photo with or of a cosplayer.
• Never touch a cosplayer without asking.
• Photographers have to discuss the purpose of the photo with the cosplayer, before taking a photo. Photo’s that are taken are not allowed to be sold.
• We do not accept aggression or any form of verbal abuse (even if it’s part of your Cosplay role) to other visitors or crew.
• We do not accept any form of inappropriate behaviour, comments, poses and or gestures.
• We have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to nudity.
• Costumes are not allowed to be smaller as standard swimwear.
• If your custome is revealing, make sure you shield the vital parts, accordingly
• Outfits that can give the illusion, that you are naked are not allowed.

Weapons

We understand that attributes and/or replica’s of weapons might be an important part of your costume. However, keep in to account that the terms and conditions stated above have to be respected during your visit at CDE. All attributes and/or replica’s ofweapons will be checked before they are allowed in the building. In the case, the replica’s of weapons and/or attributes are not accepted they will not be allowed inside. Attributes and  fake weapons can be left in the wardrobe, on your own account.
