Giel Beelen called him 'the greatest promise of 2011'. Luckily, Dotan has proven to be more than just a talent: he was a welcome guest to many venues in the past few years. After multiple sold-out shows in the small hall of Paard van Troje, Dotan returns for his first gig in the large hall. Working hardThe 26 year old singer-songwriter from Amsterdam did not reach the top without a reason. After the praising words of 3FM, Dotan did support shows of Gavin DeGraw and Sinead O'Connor and was touring throughout the country's festivals and venues intensively. His hard work paid off well: his fanbase grew gig by gig and the amount of people liking his sweet pop songs grew immensely in only a few years' time. Selling out shows six months beforehandDotan released his second album '7 Layers' this january, which was produced by Thomas Dybdahl and Chris Bond (Ben Howard). The album release party in the large hall of Paradiso was sold out six months (!) beforehand. No wonder his show at Paard van Troje was sold out quickly as well. That's why we decided to book him again, this time for the real thing: the large hall. Where he belongs, as Giel predicted all along.
