After eight albums and many performances at home and abroad, Daryll-Ann broke up in 2004. Soldaat made four solo albums for Excelsior Recordings in the following years (2007 – 2015), produced – and played in – various other bands (including Tim Knol, Clean Pete) and made music for films, commercials and a dance performance. In 2021 Anne Soldaat will tour the Netherlands again.

Songwriter, guitar hero and all-round musician Anne Soldaat returns to PAARD on February 17 2022. Anne has been active as a songwriter, singer and guitarist for over 30 years. In that capacity, he was part of the pop band Daryll-Ann for over 15 years. In 2021 he will make his return with the album Facts & Fears.
