Steve Sweet started to play ‘gabber’ when he was DJing at Rave the City in 1992. In his early days he worked under the name ”DJ The Dominator” but later changed this to ”The Darkraver”. On his first appearance under his new name he entered the stage in a bat costume. His style: mixing records very quickly and doing crazy things trying to please the crowd. He even produced some hit-records together with DJ Vince such as ”Intelligent Hardcore” and ”Thunderground”.
