The trio from Chicago, consisting of Cooper Crain, Rob Frye and Daniel Quinlivan, released a new work at the end of last year after years of silence; the four-part Bajascillators pays tribute to one of their great heroes, Sun Ra. Drum computers, synthesizers and vocoders together form an analogue trip through cosmic jazz, afro-futurism and stratospheric sounds. With the four new pieces, the Bajas once again prove themselves to be kings of hypnotic electro.

Poison Lolly makes atmospheric, experimental pop. Piano and vocals are forged together into hypnotic songs with influences from minimal music and EDM. The duo from The Hague consists of Mariëlle Pronk (vocals, effects) and Marcus Graf (piano, sounds, guitar). When Mariëlle and Marcus met in the late summer of 2014, an intense, musical bond quickly developed. With a shared love for textures and slowly developing structures, the music seems to write itself. Since the cold winter days of 2014/2015, Poison Lolly has been a fact.
