BLØF is one of the Netherlands most successful bands. They broke through with the single ‘Liefs Uit London’ and have since scored countless hits. Since their formation in 1992, the band has released 12 studio albums and won several music awards, including eight Edisons, six 3FM awards and the pop award. Since 2006, BLØF has annually organized its own multi-day festival Concert At Sea on the Brouwersdam in Zeeland, the band’s home base.
BLØF has picked up again after the lockdown. The band previously announced the festival HIER, but they have now released a new single and EP as well. The EP ‘Polaroids_01’ was partly created in corona time. For example, Pascal Jakobsen, lead singer of the band, says: “We had already worked on the songs, but the lockdown created the need to make another record and tell a different story. In the last year we have written a lot. Relates to what we’ve been through this year.”
