Candy, daughter of saxophonist Hans Dulfer, broke through in 1987 when she opened for Madonna in De Kuip. Three years later, the album Saxuality was released. Dulfer also wrote the song ‘Lily Was Here’ with Dave Stewart of Euritmics, which appeared at number 1 in the Dutch charts as the title track of the film De Kassière. Nowadays Dulfer plays annually with the Dutch supergroup The Ladies Of Soul with Glennis Grace, Edsilia Rombley and Berget Lewis. The artist also tours all over the world, because people everywhere are impressed by the Dutch saxophone playing.
