After her international breakthrough with the subsequent number 1 hit “Lily Was Here” and guest appearances with Prince (“When I want sax, I call Candy”), her platinum debut album followed,
Saxuality (for a Grammy nomination). In the meantime, Candy has sold more than 2.5 million albums and recently released her brand new album We Never Stop. It includes collaborations with big names such as Marcus Miller and Nile Rodgers, but there is also room for up-and-coming talent, from her renewed band with which she will be joining this spring. She can finally be seen on the Dutch stages again.
Special guest: Hans Dulfer
Candy has invited her father Hans Dulfer as a special guest. The 82-year-old saxophonist is still going strong and will be coming to PAARD with his own band on 15 October. But first will give Hans a wonderful performance together with Candy.
