CLOUSEAU40

Thursday 26 September 2024 2024

2024 is a special year for Clouseau, as the band celebrates its 40th anniversary. On December 16, 1984, at precisely 11 am, they performed for the very first time at the Cultural Center of Sint-Genesius-Rode in Belgium. To mark this milestone, Koen and Kris Wauters will play an incredible 12 (!) sold-out shows at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp in December ’24 and January ’25. Of course, Clouseau won’t skip the Netherlands in this celebratory year, and they will play eight club shows in the fall as part of CLOUSEAU40.

We are very happy that the Dutch audience still embraces us. We felt that during the Vrienden van Amstel LIVE. That’s why we are so looking forward to our own performances. We’ve been around for 40 years now, and we want to celebrate that with our neighbors in the north!’‘ – Koen & Kris Wauters

It’s going to be a busy year for the brothers Koen and Kris Wauters, as on January 11, they started 14 sold-out shows of the ‘Vrienden van Amstel’ in Rotterdam, Ahoy. During these shows, they sing their big hits like ‘Anne,’ ‘Passie,’ and ‘Daar gaat ze’ with Acda & De Munnik, Guus Meeuwis, and Suzan & Freek. Afterward, Clouseau can prepare for a full festival summer with performances at events like Spoorpark Live, Pop on Top, Lansingerland Live, and Gelderpop. More festival shows will be announced in the coming weeks. Fans from the early days know that a Clouseau performance guarantees a lively party with a setlist full of hits and evergreens, ensuring there will be plenty of dancing. In Belgium, Clouseau is rightfully considered part of the country’s musical heritage, but in the Netherlands, they have also proven to remain immensely popular. On September 26, they will be performing at PAARD!
