King was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her work on the soundtrack to Into The Wild, and Dave Grohl also collaborated with her for Foo Fighters. In addition to pop venues, she played at prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center, MoMa, LACMA, The Met, and Smithsonian Design Museum.

On 11 November she will play in PAARD, as part of the Cutting Edge Festival.
