When you say Sleeq, you’re essentially referring to Jazz, Mimi, Xanne, and Roula. Jazz hails from Uden, Mimi from Amsterdam, Xanne is frequently spotted in Heenvliet, and Roula was born in The Hague. The quartet participated in the Junior Songfestival in 2018 under the name REMIX. However, today they are no longer comparable to the girls they were back then. Nowadays, they not only perform under a new name but also present an entirely new sound. A fresh, mature sound is the best way to describe their sound in this day and age. Warm productions with clear melodies create the perfect balance between bold, sexy, and – occasionally – cute. The debut single ‘Lakens’, and their latest achievement ‘Nightshift’, are a beautiful representation of this. When attending a Sleeq performance, you can always count on a significant confidence boost. Through a combination of dance and vocals in their performances, they proudly showcase their femininity and encourage their fans, much like in their music, to take pride in themselves. They pursue honesty and, therefore, make music about topics such as confidence, friendship, mental health, and all the various aspects of love. In early March 2024, the girl band released new music, and for the future, they have a very clear goal in mind: to conquer the Netherlands.
