The twelve tracks on Donnie’s album seem to come from a different cosmos. His own cosmos. Never before had Bas Bron, producer of De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, ever produced with anyone else, but Donnie was the exception to the rule. The collaboration marks the characteristic sound of the album, one that fits Donnie’s world perfectly. A new, intriguing, musical universe has been created.
