DON’T STOP TALKING ABOUT PALESTINE

Together with Oxfam NOvib

Wednesday 14 May 2025

Do not let attention fade—especially not now. We must keep the conversation going about a peace in which everyone is equal. That is why Oxfam Novib and PAARD are organizing an event on Wednesday, May 14, dedicated to Palestine. We are bringing together music, inspiring panels, art, culture, and food to encourage an open and unifying discussion.

During Don’t Stop Talking About Palestine, there will be live music from Mula B, Niko, Naaz, Sef, and Roufaida. We will hear stories from Palestine, participate in panels on art as resistance and prosecuting war criminals, and engage in conversation with a Palestinian-Israeli group of friends reflecting on a shared future.

For over a year and a half, the Israeli state has been bringing destruction in Gaza. Now that Israel has violated the ceasefire, there is even less hope for peace and security for Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. Once again, Palestinian civilians are forced to flee from war violence after having already left everything behind so many times before.

And this didn’t start after the terrorist attack on October 7, 2023. Due to the occupation and illegal blockade imposed by the Israeli government, Palestinians have been living in uncertainty and oppression for decades. The ceasefire allowed Oxfam Novib and other aid organizations to deliver more assistance to the area, and even now, with access completely blocked again by Israel, they continue to do what they can with the resources available. Meanwhile, Oxfam Novib and its partners are ready to provide much more aid.

In addition to humanitarian support, Oxfam Novib remains committed to a permanent ceasefire, justice, and a political solution that respects both Palestinians and Israelis. Together, we can keep the conversation alive and raise awareness. Will you join the conversation?
