Front Line Assembly is an electro-industrial band from Vancouver. The band was founded in 1986 by Bill Leeb after leaving the band Skinny Puppy. Over the years, Front Line Assembly has explored many music genres such as Industrial Rock, Industrial Metal, Electronic Body Music and Electro-Industrial. The band started experimenting with their music and developing their own sound in 1994, adding live and sampled heavy guitar riffs to their songs. In the song Millenium you can clearly hear that the band dares to push its boundaries and goes beyond the barriers of industrial music.
Over the years, Front Line Assembly has experienced several member changes, while Bill Leeb remains the constant behind the band. Front Line Assembly is formed by Bill Leeb – vocals, keyboard, percussion and Rhys Fulber – keyboard, programming, percussion.
