In 2018, Gumbo Kings introduced the world to their unique sound with their first EP, *Gumbo Kings*, produced by Paul Willemsen. In February 2025, Gumbo Kings will release their debut album *Hotel Belvédère*. With this album, Gumbo Kings takes you to a fictional place that may or may not have existed somewhere in Florida. While the band previously drew inspiration primarily from Soul and Rhythm & Blues, their debut album showcases a distinct sound of their own. We’re no longer in Memphis or New Orleans with the familiar tones of Blues and Soul, but in 1980s Miami.
