Every venue they play changes in an Irish pub within minutes. Their voices and instrumental virtuosity is so powerful, they don’t need shiny decors and special effects. Singer-guitarist Séan Connon was one of the permanent bandmembers of The Dubliners in 1982, Paul Watchorn’s (sing/guitar/banjo) voice sounds like it’s made for Irisch folk and Gerry O’Connor (violist/banjo) toured with huge names like The Waterboys. Successor of Eamonn Campbell had his own folk band with Mary Black as lead singer when he was young. The ‘musical legacy’ is in good hands with this four men.
During this night, The Dublin Legends will bring a mix of old and new materials, like ‘The wild rover’, ‘Dirty old town’, Whiskey in the jar’ en ‘The Irish rover’. Real folk-classics, interpret by real folk-artists.
