The catchy music of IMBOS, inspired by ’80s Nederpop with a contemporary twist, has evolved into a broad musical palette in recent years. What started with mainly a socially critical note, has evolved into personal and connecting stories prevailing. The dirty synths and danceable beats seamlessly complement the sensitive songs and bring the audience an unforgettable experience during live shows.

In 2025, IMBOS will release his debut album “A Dream”, digging even deeper into his soul and taking his listeners on an immersive musical journey.

Anne Vera creates expressive Dutch pop (Nederpop) with sharp and poetic word combinations. She sheds light on existential and personal themes in an introspective yet accessible way. Her lyrics contain hidden meanings, supported by playful synths, deep basslines, and dreamy vocal melodies. Her songs often originate from a melody or single word, which she further develops together with her producer and partner, Bauke Meekes.
