Indian Askin has existed since 2007. Vocalist Chino Ayala (1987) is a writer, singer and guitarist and one of the producers of Indian Askin. The band is completed by Jasja Offermans (1991) on bass guitar, drums Ferry Art (1987) and Bart van der Elst (1996) as the youngest, on the keys.

The name Indian Askin has been buzzing around for a while now in the Dutch music scene. 3FM DJ Frank van der Lende named the band the "Sound of 2015" when he was a guest at DWDD (Dutch talk show). They played the support act for Dutch bands De Staat and Go Back To The Zoo and were a part of the Popronde in 2014. Indian Askin recently released their first single ‘Answer’. They describe their sound as now-punk, with rock, grunge and sixties influences and a psychedelic edge. They draw their musical inspiration from the 60, 70 and 90.
