The “Iris speelt Einaudi” concerts at the Concertgebouw were sold out within 24 hours last month, with music by Ludovico Einaudi (known from the film “Intouchable”). Ludovico Einaudi said about Iris her performances “one of the most beautiful performances of my music”.

Pianist, composer and singer Iris Hond are indispensable in the musical landscape. Not only is she internationally praised for her dizzying piano play, but also Iris always knows how to inspire and stir people around the world with her personal shows. There are few places that Iris has not yet played. From the Concertgebouw Amsterdam to the Gelredome (where they opened both shows of Diana Ross in 2009). Iris also plays for people who cannot come to the concert hall but where music is of great significance to them; serious sick, refugees, homeless.
