Kevin Isaacs is off to a good start within the reggae scene. This superstar offspring loved music and recorded his first single ‘Thought We Were Friends’ at the age of 13. He has been recording lots of songs ever since, among which a cover of his father’s hit single ‘Border’. The personal touch he gave this song made him a recognized artist within both Jamaica and the States. In 2000 he even recorded an album together with his father with which they toured all over the globe. During this tour he proved to be a skilful singer-songwriter and producer.
Soon after his fathers death he discovered Tallawah, a reggae band that caught the essence of reggae. This was the band he had been looking for and decided to make them part of his road to success. A few years later they are still together and play beautiful shows that continue the philosophy of Gregory Isaacs.
His slogan ‘Love can conquer war’ is a perfect example of this new found consciousness within reggae music and live. Let’s make it happen with Kevin Isaacs and reggae sensation Tallawah!
