Influential songwriter, author, and multi-instrumentalist Kristin Hersh, leader of the indie rock band Throwing Muses, is on the road with her highly acclaimed Throwing Muses release, Sun Racket. Over the last three decades, Kristin Hersh’s prolific career has seen her heralded queen of the alternative release. Hersh has released over 20 records solo, with Throwing Muses and 50FOOTWAVE to date. On the 17th of May, 2022 Kristin will preform at PAARD.

Fred Abong is a first generation Filipino-American who grew up in a family of self-taught musicians. In 2018, Fred officially returned to the world of music after thirty years by self-releasing his first solo EP, ‘Homeless’, in May of that year. In June 2018, he joined ex-Muses band-mate, Kristin Hersh, as opener on her two-week UK solo tour. Fred then self-released his second solo EP, ‘Pulsing’, followed by a multi-month tour of the UK and the US, this time as both solo opening act and bass player in the newly-formed Kristin Hersh Trio.
