LALALAR

Sunday 24 March 2024 2024

The three-headed LaLaLar was formed in the streets of Istanbul in 2019. They offer you nostalgia from the future through catchy basslines, electronic beats, flirtatious guitars, and curated samples from the archives of Anatolia. With this, they create music that makes you think while you’re dancing. You can experience it for yourself on March 24th in the Small Hall.

After the release of their first album in 2022, LaLaLar showed Europe what they are capable of. Now, their second album titled “En Kötü Iyi Olur” is out, and they are going to do it all over again.

Support: ONIKI ADIM

ONIKI ADIM is a program designed to help overcome addictions, compulsions or traumatic experiences by emphasizing personal growth. The band blends ambient guitar swells with atmospheric synths to create a dreamy melancholic whole. Songs are inspired by life between cultures and personal experiences: isolated life on the outskirts of the city meets the bustling nightlife of the inner city. All this is expressed in a musical struggle between cultures, tradition, individuality and the search for self-improvement. The ambiguous lifestyle of the band members leads to a peculiar mix of inspirations from post-rock and dream-pop to Turkish folk.
