As a singer songwriter, Hamming creates music with a wonderful pop rock sound. While writing his new songs, he takes great inspiration from Arctic Monkeys. But besides making music, he was also seen in several theater productions and he won the hugely popular program Maestro.
But after a ‘theatre gap year’ such as Johnny in All Stars, Judas in The Passion, the rock opera Tommy with his band in the Concertgebouw and therefore also his profit from the Maestro program, Lucas returns to his music. No one could have missed that, because with the release of the track ‘Falling’, which was immediately bombed to Radio 2 “Top Song” and 538 “Harde Disk”, Lucas is completely back.
And in the autumn of 2021 the new album will finally be released: it will be called POSTPONED. Of course followed by a club tour from November.
Gyo Kretz
Amsterdam-based singer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Gyo Kretz combines electric guitars, synths, drum samples, and an R&B-friendly falsetto to fresh indie-pop. The songs Gyo writes could make you think of James Bay, Tom Walker, or John Mayer, only wrapped up in a slighty more electronical atmosphere. Sometimes very open and sincere, sometimes really dreamy and dark, but at all times straight from the heart.
