Classic tracks like ‘To Be Surreal‘, ‘Lost‘ and more recently the Love ‘Collage Remix‘ are all about exploring the deep space of the imagination. Cosmic and orchestrated, they represent some of the most emotionally intense music ever to come out of the techno realm. Whether built on percussive frameworks or sweeping nebulas of dissipate sound, Slater‘s synthesizers sing space-travellers’ tales – compellingly and beautifully.

Luke Slater is a techno chameleon. Over the last three decades he’s mastered a myriad of sounds and styles, operating under a string of guises to explore the total scale of the genre. In the ugliness of the current pandemic, Luke has rejuvenated his dreamy planetarium fantasies. During the lockdown the hopeful idea arose to create a new multi-disciplinary The 7th Plain performance and in alliance with two talented modern dancers from the Staatsballett Berlin, a long cherished dream of Slater now comes true.
