The Dutch music industry tends to miss out on some great Dutch acts sometimes. Maite Hontelé is a perfect example of this phenomenon. In Columbia, it's no longer possible for her to walk down the street without being recognized anymore. She's already very famous in this country, where she has now been living for four consecutive years. Her refreshing way of bringing 'old school salsa' with modern influences, has already made it possible for her to play some of the biggest festivals in Columbia. Now it's time to conquer her own country, The Netherlands. After releasing her third album 'Déjame Asi' in 2013, she will be touring the Dutch popvenues during springtime of 2014, in order to transmit her South-American vibes to the hips and legs of the Dutch audience. She will be assisted in this by her Columbian band. They will come all the way from Columbia to play this tour together with her.
