Marco Santos, who was born in Pombal, Portugal, is a music major and has studied at conservatories in Lissabon, The Hague and Rotterdam. The drummer-composer regards both Portugal and The Netherlands to be his home and from there, he travels the world to teach music and to play with other artists. His never-ending love for music, among which jazz, classical -and world music, can be heard in the many projects and cooperative jams Santos often gets into and also in the passionate live shows that he enjoys performing with as many of his befriended musicians as possible.
