Urban meets pop | Music Rights on Tour
For a lot of musicians it remains an almost impossible puzzle: music and law. Especially within the urban scene the knowledge about it is limited, but also for the pop scene it is often unknown territory. Does the whole crew have to join Buma/Stemra, for example? Do you receive money from Sena for gigs? And when is the best time to become a member of NORMA? To answer these questions, Cultuurschakel and music venue PAARD will organize this Meet The Urban Pros (MTUP) together with Popradar Academy and Music Rights on Tour.
The program consists of presentations from Silvia Biemans (Sena), Yacine N’Diaye (NORMA) and Esther Maijer (Buma/Stemra), afther which there will be a moment to ask questions. The law organisations will answer all your questions together with producer, Jaap Wievel / Killing Skills.
