During the show all the aspects of Christmas will be checked. From the traditional celebration of the birth of Christ, to the more commercial Santa Claus type of Christmas. All to the tune of new kerstsongs, wich (hopefully) all will grow to be straight on Christmas-classics. All kinds of Christmas-music will be played. The new album containes popsongs, flirtations with early sixties soul and, obviously, gospel. Only ‘Silent Night’ and ‘What Christmas Means To Me’ by Stevie Wonder, aren’t originals. The band will try to make the ambiance as Christmassy as possible. No cynism, just cozy and warm in the Grote Zaal with the music of Michelle David & The Gospel Sessions.

Soul, gospel and pop all are part of the repertoire of Michelle David & The Gospel Sessions. The act played in our venue a lot and we are exited to host one of the special Christmas-shows. All thanks to the new album It’s A Soulful Christmas. An evening where the only thing that counts is the celebration of Christmas and capturing that feeling with music. The only thing we can not offer is a little layer of snow outside! Michelle David & The Gospel Sessions play the Grote Zaal on December 27th.
