Local hero Mula B will play another home game at PAARD on 14 June! This will not be just any kick-off: in fact, he will be in the middle of the Grolsch Zaal, surrounded by the audience in a special 360 setup. As king of hip-hop from The Hague, he made an unmistakable contribution to the formation of Dutch hip-hop with his repertoire, anno 2025 he is considered a true pioneer within the Dutch music landscape.

During PAARD360, we slide out the balconies and build a musical arena.

His latest album Narcopop, released in 2023, was hailed by various media as the best Dutch-language hip-hop album of that year. In 2024, Narcopop was awarded an Edison for what the jury report said was a ‘groundbreaking album’.

A sold-out venues tour and a victory tour of leading festivals such as Best Kept Secret, Wildeburg and Into The Great Wide Open followed. Here, he proved that his mix of trap, indie and electronica appeals to a very wide audience and his stage performance makes him one of the most urgent festival acts of the moment.

Architect Rem Koolhaas designed a modular concert hall for the Grolsch Zaal, in which the balconies are retractable. This allows the stage to be placed in the middle of the hall, creating a unique setting: an arena in which performers are the centrepiece, surrounded by the balconies. This makes for an intimate, unique and exciting experience. During these concerts and club nights, the audience stands 360° around the stage, offering a totally new experience of our iconic venue. PAARD360 is the Grolsch Zaal’s best-kept secret.
