New Cool Collective finds its roots back in 1993 and has eight bandmembers. For the past 25 years they have been able to bring jazz to younger and broader audience. They collaborated with artists like Guus Meeuwis, Tony Allen (Fela Kuti) and Typhoon. In 2018 they’ve won an Edison Award and released their nineteenth (!) record.

For more than 25 years the guys of New Cool Collective are grooving around the globe. Shamelessy, the band shakes genres like jazz, dance, salsa, latin, afrobeat and boogaloo into a delicious cocktail. The pioneers do not only know how to blow away small, alternative jazzcafés but also famous, international festivals like Roskilde, Fuji, Sziget to name a few. Wherever the collective goes, they’ll leave a trail of energy and funk.
