At first, his debutalbum ‘Wintermusik’ was a present for his family, but soon became clear that the fairytale-like compositions of solo-pianist Nils Frahm reached further. His compositions could be described as cinematographic and minimalistic neo-classic, flirting with the newest developments in the folk- and pop music.
