Ann My Dice takes a critical look at the current era we live in, offering a glimmer of hope both musically and lyrically, motivating both friend and foe to take action.
The latest achievement is “World In Ember,” which determines the direction that Ann My Dice is heading in terms of sound and theme. In 2020, Ann My Dice released their most played song titled
“In Vain,” marking a significant milestone for the band with tens of thousands of views. The subsequent release, “Deliver Us,” was well-received in 2021.
Since its founding in 2012, Ann My Dice has had an eventful journey. After a few singles (“Wreckage” & “Never Back Down”), the band released their album “To Start A Journey” in 2015. Four years later,
this was followed up by the EP “Thorn,” featuring the successful track “Whisper In The Dark” as the flagship.
In the live circuit, Ann My Dice is no stranger. The band has performed both domestically and internationally, including venues such as Baroeg, Tivoli, Bibelot, and Fluor.
Formed in Amsterdam in the summer of 2017, Mountain Eye has taken the alternative metal sound and made it their own. The band uses the various musical backgrounds of its members to create a unique sound with alternative metal at its core. Unexpected influences like folk, ambient and electronic genres make sure that no song sounds the same.
Their debut album Roads Uncharted was released in January 2019. Roads Uncharted was received positively by the metal community as online listeners streamed the album over 1 million times in the first 3 years.
In 2021 the band released the singles Watershed & Synopsis, which was featured on the Spotify official playlist New Blood and Alternative Metal. In late 2021 Mountain Eye released the singles My Last Winter Trail and IME, which was featured on the official Spotify playlist Rauwe Kost. In July 2022, the band released the single Event Horizon, which ended up on playlists like All New Metal, New Music Friday NL and Weekly Wire: Best New Rock & Metal Songs by Loudwire.
On 9 September 2022, the second album First We Become Ashes was released by Mountain Eye. The single 9 Knives ended up on the All New Metal playlist, and the album got a lot of great response from both fans and reviewers. The group has shared the stage with bands like Megaherz and InVisions.
