Anne Vera takes you into a world of dreamy melodies and poetic lyrics. With her expressive Nederpop, she connects inner and outer landscapes and gives existential themes an exciting, personal charge. Playful synths and deep bass lines reveal hidden layers. Her songs often originate from a melody or single word, which she then develops further with her producer and partner, Bauke Meekes. Together they create a timbre that reveals the deeper layers of the lyrics. Her music is an invitation to dream and explore. Anne Vera recently released her debut EP “En Year Summer,” which she presented live during a sold-out show at Vessel 11. The EP, a collection of diary entries that takes listeners through the seasons of her twenties, from summer love to winter dips, was complemented by two short videos to bring her vision to life.
