Inge van Calkar is back, and how!
You may know her from the Radio 2 Top Song “Touchdown,” her participation in “De Beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederland,” and “De Slimste Mens.” Inge has already impressed and won many awards, such as Best Artist from the North at ESNS 2022. She has also shared the stage with big names such as Bløf, Van Dik Hout, Miss Montreal and Passenger.

After a year of reflection, Inge is back with a new energy and a fresh outlook. “The music industry is so volatile and quality rarely gets the attention it deserves,” says Inge. “I needed some time to land and feel again what I do it for. Making songs that make me happy myself and that really touch the audience, rather than striving for a hit.”

And now she is doing that with full conviction. Inge is back on stage with a tightly-knit band: Frank Fiedler on bass (known from the German soul band tok tok tok), Milo Groenhuijzen on guitar (played with Hanna Mae, among others) and Sjoerd de Vries on drums (known from the Beatles Sessions). Together they will preview her new album “Aggressive Nonchalance,” a record that promises to be her most personal and energetic work to date. Think the vibe of Lana Del Rey, the energy of Goldfrapp and the emotion of Phoebe Bridgers.
