Paardcafé: Johnny Bruce Muller + LIEN

Singer-Songwriter Johnny Bruce Muller released his folky EP The Battle Between These Ears at the Horse Cafe in 2017. This time he is back to promote his new single “Still On My Mind.” He has previously performed at Hipfest, De Haagse Pop Week, Paradiso and was featured on Den Haag FM. In “Still On My Mind” you will hear influences of soul and blues. The guitar riffs and solos tell the story of a love he can’t let go of. Johnny will also play his older work, which brings out his folky side. Johnny will take you into his songs, as well as make you sing and dance along. Johnny will be on stage with bassist Victor Crowther and drummer Dylan Siemerink.

This Nederpopact from The Hague manages to bring together personal and social themes with surprising openness and sensitivity. LIEN plays with language and emotion. And that touches.
In recent years they released three albums: ‘This is not about anything’ in 2021, ‘Dear without reason’ in 2022 and ‘That color looks good on you’ in 2023. They also toured small theaters with their musical cabaret shows.
In this supporting act, expect an intimate acoustic performance with Lien Cornelissen (vocals) and Dylan Siemerink (guitar, backing vocals).
