Paardcafé: New Exhibit + COLOR BONES

Saturday 28 September 2024 2024

New Exhibit is a fresh indie/alternative band from Leiden, Netherlands. Where last year was in the theme of their first three debut singles, 2024 will be in the theme
of releasing their first record. New Exhibit’s sound is fuzzy, psychedelic, but to-the-point. The music is balanced by moments of definition and calm. With an energetic show, they already took their place on stages at the Slaughterhouse, among others, as headliner in a packed Resistor and in the main hall of the Nobel last year.

COLOR BONES is an indie rock trio with Mo Assem on guitar and vocals, Sjaak van Dam on drums, and Martijn Engels on bass. The creative process takes place in an old bunker in Utrecht. COLOR BONES is influenced by Radiohead, Balthazar, Spoon and dEUS, but also draws inspiration from skate culture, improvisation with hang drums and synthesizers, visual media, animation films and philosophy. Always accompanied by mugs of coffee, black as humanity itself.
