PUSSY RIOT

RIOT DAYS

Thursday 26 June 2025

On Thursday, June 26, while world leaders gather in The Hague for the NATO summit, PUSSY RIOT will be taking the stage at PAARD on the other side of the city. The renowned feminist performance collective brings their project Riot Days to the city of “Peace and Justice.” In this powerful performance, Maria Alyokhina, a founding member of Pussy Riot, shares her personal story of protest, police violence, imprisonment in Moscow, and political activism. In this way, Pussy Riot and PAARD provide a timely and urgent soundtrack to the NATO summit.

Riot Days merges powerful quotes and poetic statements with intense live saxophone, drums, and electronic influences, performed by a charismatic ensemble that delivers an unforgettable experience.

PUSH is the new umbrella under which PAARD brings together its socially engaged, critical, progressive, and politically conscious programming. As the premier pop venue in the city of power, politics, peace, (international) law, and protest just a few hundred meters from the Binnenhof, PUSH provides the soundtrack to societal change. With PUSH, we show that we are not here solely to entertain, but also to dive deeper. At PUSH, you’ll see and hear things that can shift your perspective, expand your understanding, or even alter the course of your life. PUSH will provoke, challenge, confront, and spark conversation.
