Rootsriders were originally formed to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Bob Marley’s passing, and over the years, the band has become a staple in the Dutch live music scene. Former members include well-known singers Giovanca Ostiana and Shirma Rouse, as well as former The Voice runner-up Mitchell Brunings, whose blind audition of—of course—a Marley song went viral worldwide. The current singer, Mo Ali, was discovered in Sudan through social media, as is common nowadays.

A tribute to Bob Marley’s 1975 live album featuring the iconic version of “No Woman No Cry.” In 2004, the authoritative American magazine Rolling Stone ranked the song at number 37 on their list of the 500 greatest songs of all time. This May, it will be performed by Rootsriders featuring Mo Ali!
