The Limburgse dialect band started out as an English-language band from Peel. Thirty years later, they have grown into one of the bigger acts in Dutch pop music. The music has folk influences such as Tex-Mex and Polka and ranging to sensitive ballads. In 1992 the band’s real breakthrough came with their performances at Pinkpop and the Amsterdam Uitmarkt. Since then, Rowwen Hèze has played several times at Pinkpop, Lowlands, Parkpop and the Deense Roskilde.
