Singer-songwriter Ruben Annink is coming to PAARD! With his guitar in his hand and his experiences in life, he translates his music into honest and warm Dutch-language pop music.

Annink uses a combination of folk music and Nederpop. This combination ensures that you get a warm feeling inside. The singer-songwriter has found his place in recent years between the styles of Acda & De Munnik, Marco Borsato, BLØF and Guus Meeuwis.

You may know Annink from the TV program “Beste Zangers” where he enchanted the viewer with his honest, warm Dutch pop music. He also participated in the program “The best singer-songwriter”.

The Haarlem singer – who started his career as a street musician – was discovered by Ali B when he was 15, after which he scored hits with Ali B himself, Jonna Fraser, Teske and Keizer. The singer has now said goodbye to urban music and has developed his own sound and voice.

In 2012 he took part in the first season of The Voice Kids. And in 2016 Annink made the title song of Angry Birds: The Film. And in the same year he also released the Time Machine together with Teske de Schepper.
