Morgarten

Although Morgarten has been making a name for themselves for some time, the band still consists of relatively young men. They started playing together at a very young age, and in recent years, they’ve made their breakthrough in various countries. Morgarten has especially gained a large following in the Netherlands, where the Swiss band is a popular live act.

Their latest album, Cry of the Lost, gave them the final push in the right direction. Since its release, Morgarten has been regularly touring across Europe and performing at numerous international festivals. Live, the band takes the audience—whom they call warriors—on a journey in their battle against evil. So, grab your plastic sword and shield and support Morgarten!

Cân Bardd

A band that’s quickly making a name for itself internationally but has yet to perform in the Netherlands is Cân Bardd. The Swiss band has already released several impressive albums, leading to shows and tours across Europe. Finally, they’re coming to the Netherlands to make their mark.

Aggressive yet melodic, dark yet atmospheric: Cân Bardd has all the elements that fans of folk/black metal love to embrace. Their latest album, Devoured by the Oak, is a perfect reflection of what these Swiss musicians have to offer. This promises to be a truly special concert!

Saor

The finest representative of folk and black metal from the United Kingdom is undoubtedly Saor. Over the past few years, the band has gained increasing international success, and in the Netherlands, Saor has built a loyal fanbase. This time, they’re coming to the Lowlands with a new album in hand.

Saor describes their music as Caledonian metal, named after the Scottish landscape where the band’s roots lie. The band excels at blending Celtic music with atmospheric black metal like no other. Their sound incorporates traditional instruments and—alongside the screams—captivating female vocals.
