SJAAK ‘STRIJDERSYSTEEM’

Mehdi Chafi, A.K.A. Sjaak is one of East-Amsterdam's most notorious rappers. He has been developing his skills for years now, getting lots of attention with his wayward way of rapping, great flow, nice punch lines, and lethal dose of charisma.Who's Sjaak?Sjaak's first mainstream appearance came forth from the collaboration he did with Appa, which immediately turned into a hit called 'Ik Heb Schijt'. In the same year, he signed his record deal with SPEC, Ali B.'s label. When he started working together with The Partysquad and co-wrote the hit-song 'Stuk', the Dutch hip-hop world was on his feet. In the following years, he released his debut-EP 'Sjaakmat' and collaborated with Yes-R, Ali B., Kempi, Sef, Yellow Claw, Mr. Polska, and of course The Opposites.Club bangers and more: StrijderSysteemThe upcoming album will contain a mix of the already classic Sjaak-sound, and straight forward club bangers. The StrijderSysteem EP, which will be released in anticipation of the album, will most definitely be able to satisfy the fans until the full album is released.2013 was a year that was full of highlights for Sjaak, moreover because of his less commercial work, like writing the soundtrack for the movie 'WOLF', and the subsequent documentary.
