The influences come from genres like shoegaze, psych, krautrock, goth and postpunk: let’s look at the early work of Sisters of Mercy as a reference and put a dash of A Place To Bury Strangers, with whom they have shared the stage before, on top and you have an idea of what they sound like. Sonic Jesus was founded by the Italian Tiziano Veronese. But, don’t expect a sound that is formed by his sunny surroundings, Veronese and his band prefer pounding, driving rythms, deep vocals and reverb-guitars.
