Sue the Night, also known as Suus de Groot, is back after a period of absence. On October 20th, her third studio album, Susanne and the Sad Sunset Disco, will be released, and of course, a new tour is part of the package: The Sunset Disco Tour. After her last tour at the end of 2018, Suus, who was pregnant at the time, took a break from Sue. Unfortunately, a more extended break followed due to the pandemic, but she hasn’t been idle. She took ample time to write and find musicians to bring it all to life in the studio. “I embraced Jaimie’s (bassist for Sue the Night) grand piano in her studio and reworked some songs on it. It’s more spacious, exciting, and less guitar-based, although guitars remain my favorites, of course.” On januari 23th, you can hear the final result at PAARD!

The Dutch indie duo Silver Lake creates nocturnal, melancholic Art-Pop with a rich melodic instrumentation. This provides a nostalgic nod to the past while their focus remains keenly set on the future. This is enhanced by analog videos in the style of the 60s, released this year.
