Rastafarian! Anyone who says “close harmony singing” in reggae says Abyssinians. The legendary roots reggae trio formed in 1968 and is not nearly finished performing 50 years later. The most popular album of the men from Kingston is “Satta Masagana”. The song has become like an anthem in the seventies that could be heard in all Jamaican churches, dance halls and radio stations. The eponymous debut album from 1976 can also be described as a true classic. The Jamaican men are going to make a beautiful reggae party with us in PAARD on December 11.
