The Blind Boys of Alabama have been performing for more than seventy years, being recognized worldwide as living legends of gospel music. With their deep, soulful harmonizing, the Blind Boys have earned praise for their remarkable interpretations of everything from traditional gospel favourites to contemporary material.

Despite their increasing age the Blind Boys can still be found on stage regularly, performing in the White House for president Obama only last February.
As the men head into their seventh decade of belting out impeccable harmonies they released their latest record Duets in 2009. Working with a wide variety of artists the record continues a tradition of working with some of the biggest names in the business, including Solomon Burke, Lou Reed, Ben Harper en Randy Travis.

Celebrated by the Grammys with a Lifetime Achievement Award and inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, mainstream audiences have embraced the Blind Boys of Alabama, recognising their contributions and significance to the gospel music.
