A BIG BAD BEAUTIFUL NOISE: The Godfathers
Earlier this year, the British rock band The Godfathers struck back with their new studio album “A Big Bad Beautiful Noise” – a title we like to emphasize! And on December 13, this true cult classic from the no-future era will take residence in our Kleine Zaal. We have no idea how they did it, but The Godfathers destroyed their old-timer associations and they sound more vital than ever before. Their fantastic guitar rock has a post-punk edge and is melodic at the same time.

The godfathers aren’t the only ones coming to Paard on December 13, because they bring the new wave band Department-s alongside them! This band also has British roots and both stood side by side at the birth of the new-wave sound. People who experienced this era consciously, may know Department-s from their 1981 hit ‘Is Vic There?’. Together with The Godfathers they’ll bring an evening full of dark and enthralling wave-sounds.
