Led by Arend Dijkstra and Gaia Slotboom, The Great Communicators churn out preening indie gems that swoop and soar like a breezy joyride along the coastlines. The group first introduced their horse sense for deft songwriting on debut EP Bide Your Time, produced by none other than Dave Newfeld. Capable hands to say the least, as Newfeld previously helmed records by fellow indie rock shamans Broken Social Scene.
The Great Communicators are currently touching up on their first full-length release at producer Simon Akkermans’s Kytopia Studio.
