Get ready for the new garage rock whirlwind from the UK, as The Howlers are ready to blow Europe away!
At the beginning of 2022, The Howlers seemed to be thriving after completing a sold-out tour and recording their debut EP during the challenging lockdowns of 2020. Lead singer Adam Young described the intense experience of living and working closely with bandmates Guus Ter Braak in a small house, navigating a world marked by pandemic-related chaos. Their first EP earned them much attention and a loyal fan base, but the turning point for The Howlers came with the introduction of drummer Tom Triggs.
His seamless integration into the group led to the recording of their “Further Down The Line EP,” produced in collaboration with friends Black Honey. The best song, “El Dorado,” became the first single from their upcoming album, titled “What You’ve Got To Lose To Win It All. This album reflects a blend of their individual musical influences, resulting in a cinematic sound that embodies their journey through adversity. The recording process proved to be both purifying and healing for the band and marks an important evolution in their artistic expression.
