The chance that Thijs Boontjes will have to go to the fair alone is getting smaller by the day. His star is rising, his popularity is growing. Thijs Boontjes has conquered a beautiful place on the pop stage, somewhere between the charming folk singer and the charismatic rock star. On December 15th, 2021 we welcome this fine guy and his orchestra back to PAARD.
The last tour with his excellent band was a great success and his most recent album Geen Achttien Meer (2019) was enthusiastically received. It is Dutch-language rock ‘n’ roll with a wink, they are thorough love songs with a laugh and a tear. Thijs Boontjes, remember that name.
